Lesson Learned

This will be a longer post, alot of dead bodies and a few funny stories. We will start with a story about learning a lesson.  Since zero killed me, I have been trying not to talk trash and follow all the rules. Zero said he would take care of issues as long as I report them. Well I was a bit skeptical but..

First I killed Weyh 1v1 at MLC.. this noob finally hit 80 and thinks he can fight i guess..?

Note the full HP.. was using aojs..

As you can see he is almost the first one on the server in the 5xx points club.  It is not a club you want to belong to.  He is racing Yeo and Reanimated.

Well then he talked in town and I was proud of myself, I didnt respond. But I reported

Zero then followed through with CB. Thanks Zero!

As I said, poor Weyh hit 80 and thought he could fight.  This happened in the first 5 minutes of siege, then he logged his noob mage JAKSON.

Now if you have been pvping on Zero lately you will have noticed that Mages are very strong (maybe even OPed). To prove this I played my noob alt lvl 70 mage with 35 sp.. Here was the result:

Ooopps..

The deaths coninued:

Now onto some other regulars:

Cesar tries to be hero..and while warriors are OPed.. he still flops

Both of those deaths to Mars were 1v1 in MLC.

Soul of Eva

There has been alot of discussion about Soul of Eva lately on the server. Many of us feel that Soul of Eva's proc does massive amount of damage, maybe too much. Well you think Knight's Soul of Eva hurts...

Zero's Soul of Eva killed me one hit QQ must be +127

Here is the back story.

If you have been in MLC during ZT over the last month you undoubtedly have seen TheD leveling hard. I have been getting in all 3 hours of MLC virtually everyday . Well nothing angers me more than mop stealers. Well 2 days ago during ZT there was a player who was stealing mops. Now I don't think he was doing it maliciously, that is, I don't think he hates me and wants to steal MY mops. He just hits other peoples mops. He began to steal my mops. Now to make the situation harder, I am chat banned so I cannot warn him to stop. After a while, I was tired of it. So I switched from dagger to bow and thought I will warn him by shooting him a few times..

Well he died in 2-3 triples..It was not my intention to kill, but to firmly warn him to stop. Well then Zero logged in a few hours later to speak to me. As you can see above I felt the wrath of the sword. Now I do not agree with this decision. On Live, if you steal mops you better believe people will kill you. Well Zero said neutral pledges have immunity. You are not allowed to hit them. My only course of action is to report it. My only problem with this is that while I report and wait for a response, this player might be able to steal mops for several hours. If zero is busy or he deems it to be a small matter I might have to wait days for a response. And then what is consequence to the mop stealer? He gets a firm warning? A slap on the wrist.

Lineage is a pvp game and while I don't think RPK should abound, but if a player steals mops repeatedly, then I should have the right to kill him (even though that was not my intention, if it was, it should be within my rights).

Anyway, all be warned, please report these problems to zero -- do not take matters into your own hands.. or you could meet my fate. Now because I am thirsty and prideful, the worst part was losing 20 points qq.

Now I feel obligated to report, since this incident this player has been very polite and have not stolen any mops. The question I leave you with is that because I killed him or because someone told him to stop??

Fair Journalism

In light of my last post, Reanimated called me out and said I failed to mention that we are homeless. After the siege I posted about we were in fact homeless. We lost orc and giran to the horde that is now stripclub. He then went on to talk about how we can't have cute titles (must of upset him our old titles). Aqua informed him that we don't care about castles. Which is mostly true, being that I am trying hard to push 85 in the next 2 weeks I do care about the exp boost. But I don't care for it as a status symbol which is what I think Reanimated was hinting at. That by holding Giran it is a reflection that your pledge is better or stronger than the pledge you fight. That somehow owning Giran is a reflection that you are "winning" or the "best" pledge. Well this post is designed to show the opposite.

Sieging success is in large part affected by the size of your pledge and your siege attendance. Over the last few weeks strip club has been growing rapidly with returning players(Boxter, Alanna) and new players rising quickly (Kale, Apok, Cesar who is esteban / saintsword but still a new character). Most often it is TheEnd pledge with myself, Admiral, Mars, Aqua, Proofy and Signal (71 mage) vs 10-16 players. Sometimes over a weekend Agent's crew (Tidus, Sil, Coda) can participate and sometimes Episode, Hammer, and Mission show up -- infrequently. The last siege I attended Strip had 18 people at siege with 5 mages. We had percisely 7 players. Now you see, mages currently are quite strong. Most of these noobs will roll a mage and just heal and AB. It makes it hard to win a castle being so severely outnumbered.

So yes, we have lost Giran and it may be infruquent that we get enough players to win it back. However to me, this is not the best indicator that reflects that a pledge is "winning". To me, it is about being the "better" pledge. To me in Lineage, unlike real life and real war, winning is defined by killing your enemy. Now we might be outnumbered greatly on a regular basis but we still outkill them at every siege. And I know what you are saying, well that's because you kill all of their noob players. That is not true.

Please examine this first SS:

What do you notice about this SS? All of these players have died more than they have killed and many of them have died 20-30 times. Well who must be taking these points from them? Clearly it is not just noobs we are killing at sieges and fights. Let me point out 3 of these players are level 85: Esteban, Ginger, and Boxter. 6 others are 84: Bell, Mamm0th, Apok, Cesar, Alanna and Yeo(is Yeo still 84? so much dying).

Now in the name of fair journalism I found exactly 2 players total from Stripclub with more than 1000 points at the time I put these together.

Kale who had 1030 and Knight who had 1024

Now please look at the next SS:

Now we might have lost a castle and might continue to lose castles but I would say we are clearly winning. Killing many...That is the true sign of which pledge is better. Being outnumbered at each fight and having to kill through 3-5 mages healing is not easy. It shows we are far more organized and skilled. So if you decide that the definition of the best pledge is whoever holds giran I think you are a bit short sighted. Clearly we are the better pledge.

Now for the grand finale:

Wow.. just wow.. Like WTF? Reanimated is 26 points away from Weyh. Reanimated is really well geared 84 elf and weyh is a trash 80 knight.. how does that happen?

One thing we might all be able to agree on is reanimated is clearly not winning regardless of who has castle...

Accusers and Losers

Here is my weekly post and there is alot to get through..

To start I wanted to tell you about a very funny joke I played on poor noob Weyh.

I showed Weyh a pair of DK boots which he clearly had never seen before. As you can see I told him fake stats and he wanted them. For 2 days he said "buying KV shoes" LOL. Poor Weyh, he just desperately wants to be strong but..

He just is not very good. After he was made to look like a fool, he got very upset and started talking.. alot

He then called us cheaters.. which is what so many have been doing lately.

Speaking about calling us cheaters Kuka wins an award this week. Notice how he claims that Zero made +20 wep for MARS:

I hope Zero follows up with his claim that accusing people of hacking gets a ban.. these kids need a ban.

Here is another funny thing that happened the other day.

Neuropath died in UB. The thing is.. he wasnt afk, he was there chatting away and did not realize his HP was dropping until he flopped. That about summarizes their skills..

Now some bodies!!!!

Today we have 3 CO-MVPS

1. Azurecandy

2. Reanimated

WTF happened here.. Episode and I are the only ones hitting him and noone else is in tower area.. They had 4 mages there.. cant heal him? WoW.. So bad..

Twilight is Kuka and he is as bad as weyh. I made a new mage for fun and met an old zero players and he decided to join us. At the same time. twilight was trying to ge thim to join them. Once this new player saw how noobish twlight was he agreed to join us. Then twilight got mad..

Well that's all for now.. see you next week!
